Day 8 of #mardini2023 | Sand |
I had a ton of fun learning about how vellum grains acted differently from regular grain sims in Houdini. I ended up doing vellum grains since it felt more straight forward to figuring out in a few hours. I ended up bringing my particle size down to .00125 but feel like I'm still ways off to realistic looking sand. Curious what techniques there are to bring particles down while not increasing more render time.
